After only two runs in their last match, Lakeshore made sure to put some runs up on the board against Portage Northern on Friday. The Lancers blew past the Huskies 10-1. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Lakeshore's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Portage Northern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Lakeshore is taking a road trip to take on New Prairie at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
