Muleshoe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Lamesa as they made off with a 10-2 victory. Considering the Mules have won 17 games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Adalie Agundis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Agundis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Addilene Blanco was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Melanie Martens was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Muleshoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are a perfect 18-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Jacksboro was able to grind out a solid win over Wall on Saturday, taking the game 10-5.
Like Muleshoe, Jacksboro also got a great game from a two-way player: Shelby Seaberry. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Seaberry was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Holly Lehman and Brailyn Tullous did most of the damage at the plate: Lehman went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Tullous went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Muleshoe is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Jacksboro, their win bumped their record up to 23-12-1.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Muleshoe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .451.
