The Wooster Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Truckee Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Wooster is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Wooster scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sparks 60-16 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.
Truckee suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a rough 60-40 defeat at the hands of South Tahoe. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Truckee in their matchups with South Tahoe: they've now lost five in a row.
Wooster's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Truckee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Wooster against Truckee in their previous meeting two weeks ago as the squad secured a 58-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wooster since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
