Cathedral won the last time they faced Silver Creek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Fighting Irish came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 2-0.

Cathedral easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Silver Creek still got an impressive performance from Dannah Kerberg, who had eight digs and one assist.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Silver Creek, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Cathedral has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against New Albany on the 27th. As for Silver Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against McCutcheon on the 27th.
