Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Encina by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-13.
