Juniata came into Monday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Greenwood Wildcats on Monday. The Indians not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 12, 2025 (when they won 13-3).

Juniata's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Greenwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Juniata will head out on the road to face off against East Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greenwood, they will host Midd-West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
