The Holt Ironmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Demopolis Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Monday, Holt was the victim of a rough 4-1 loss at the hands of Bessemer City. That's two games in a row now that Holt has lost by exactly three goals.
Meanwhile, Demopolis beat Central 4-2 on Saturday. Four seems to be a good number for Demopolis as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Fernando Mancilla-Otero,
Jose Tellez,
John Laney, and
Nathan Chambers.
This is the second loss in a row for Holt and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Demopolis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Holt was able to grind out a solid win over Demopolis in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, winning 2-0. Will Holt repeat their success, or does Demopolis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
