Softball Recap: Bowie Wins Going Away Against Vernon

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Amarillo, Bowie was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Vernon Lions with a sharp 10-2 win. The Jackrabbits haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Vernon, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Bowie will head out on the road to square off against Windthorst at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday. Windthorst is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. As for Vernon, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Vernon Lions duke it out with Electra Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
