While losing is never fun, Bolton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Fayette Ware is ranked 164th).
Fayette Ware found their leader in underclassman Ke'miyah Buggs, who scored 17 points. Buggs has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerkiyra Jones, who scored ten points.
Bolton has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Fayette Ware, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fayette Ware, they will head out on the road to face off against Haywood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haywood is coming into the match with four straight victories at home, so Fayette Ware is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
