Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-66 victory over the Independence Patriots on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since January 25, 2024.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

When Washington and Independence next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Washington will try to stop Central's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Independence will take on La Joya Community and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
