The Wellman-Union Wildcats are on the road again on Friday and play against the Rotan Yellowhammers at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
Last Saturday, Wellman-Union ended up a good deal behind Meadow and lost 59-45. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wellman-Union in their matchups with Meadow: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Rotan entered their tilt with Moran with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Rotan blew past Moran 63-11 on the road. Considering Rotan has won seven contests by more than 26 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Wellman-Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rotan, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-6.
Wellman-Union was taken down by Rotan 55-26 in their previous matchup back in November. Can Wellman-Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
