The Briarcrest Christian Saints entered their tilt with Memphis Home Education Association with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Briarcrest Christian came out on top against the by a score of 46-39 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Briarcrest Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Briarcrest Christian found their leader in underclassman Kendall Jones, who scored 17 points along with five steals. Jones hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Hallie Turner, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Briarcrest Christian pushed their record up to 14-10 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Memphis Home Education Association, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Briarcrest Christian will square off against the Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Agnes Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Saints are ranked 103rd). Memphis Home Education Association will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
