Diego Rivera had a senior duo take command as Izaya New scored 20 points and Cameron Cole scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points New has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ole Leyva, who scored nine points.
Despite the loss, Santee saw an underclassman step up: Darnell Miller scored 25 points.
Diego Rivera's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Santee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
