Crescent City is 0-3 against P.K. Yonge since April of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Raiders will face off against the Blue Wave at 7:00 p.m. Crescent City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
Bradford hit Crescent City with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 7-6.
Trivauhn Bush made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jarvell Fuller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge won against Crescent City on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Blue Wave skirted past Interlachen 6-4. The win was nothing new for the Blue Wave as they're now sitting on three straight.
Colt Kramer was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Gerardo Barrios was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Wheeler, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for P.K. Yonge, their record is now 16-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crescent City has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like P.K. Yonge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crescent City came up short against P.K. Yonge in their previous meeting on Thursday, falling 6-1. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
