The Tilden Blue Devils will stay at home for another game and welcome the Excel Academy of South Shore Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th. Hopefully Tilden focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 last Friday.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Tilden had to settle for a 45-43 loss against the Knights.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Lunden Williams, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. He also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Pacheco, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Excel Academy of South Shore scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against EPIC Academy by a score of 65-53. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Excel Academy of South Shore has managed all season.
Tilden has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Excel Academy of South Shore, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
