Football Recap: Palmetto Skates Past Coral Glades with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Palmetto had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Coral Glades Jaguars 42-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Palmetto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Butler Aiden, who rushed for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards Aiden has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Bailey, who threw for 232 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

The victory was the third in a row for Palmetto, bringing their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Coral Glades, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Palmetto didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-10 victory against Columbus on the 21st. Coral Glades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
