The Longview Lobos stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Marshall at home to the tune of 83-49. Winning may never get old, but Longview sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Longview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Da'Morrion Williams out in front who scored 18 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Drew Ward, who scored 20 points along with four steals.
Longview is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season. As for Marshall, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
Longview will challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitehouse is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Marshall will take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
