Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Superior). They came out on top against the New Richmond Tigers by a score of 61-49 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Superior's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for New Richmond, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Superior will face off against Hermantown at 7:15 p.m. on January 28th. New Richmond has already played their next contest (against Amery), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
