The Durham Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Enterprise Hornets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Durham will be strutting in after a win while Enterprise will be coming in after a defeat.
Durham's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Hoopa Valley. The Trojans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 5, 2025 (when they won 16-2).

Annalee Horn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI.
In other batting news, Durham got a massive performance out of Hayden Poyner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs Poyner has posted since back in May of 2025. Sadie Sjolund was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Durham always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hoopa Valley only posted an OBP of .200.
Central Valley hit Enterprise with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets lost 11-1 to the Falcons. The Hornets have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Carly Graham was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Durham now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
