Steele was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-18.
Dani Dury was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Morgan Lymer also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Steele was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Steele has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Midview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Steele took their victory against Midview in their previous matchup on September 11th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
