Maegan Berry was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sadie Soucy, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucy Wetzel, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Marshwood's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Hawks have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game.
