There's no place like home for Falcon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They really took it to the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-14 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 26 points or more this season.

Falcon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexis Hunter, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Hunter a new career-high. Cobelyn Wiesner was another key player, putting up 14 points and five assists.

Falcon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Falcon pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.2 points over those games. As for Mesa Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Pueblo East will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Falcon surely won't give up without a fight. Mesa Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
