On Friday Bennington take on Blair at 7:00 PM. Bennington are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Bennington took the game and then some with a 46-7 victory last Friday over Schuyler. Senior Karson Gansebom, who rushed for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Bennington's success.
Meanwhile, Blair ran circles around Mount Michael Benedictine, and the extra yardage (384 yards vs. 155 yards) paid off. Blair had enough points to win and then some against Mount Michael Benedictine, taking their match 28-12. The win was familiar territory for Blair, who now have four in a row.
Their wins bumped Blair to 5-2 and Bennington to 4-4. Bennington's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Blair defensive front that amassed five sacks against Mount Michael Benedictine, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
