BREMERTON, Wash. - the Buccaneers scored 21 points in the second quarter to secure a big 40-6 victory over Bremerton (Wash.) on Saturday.
Kingston scored on a touchdown run by
Aaron Dickson, a
Bob Reece touchdown pass to
Henry English and a touchdown pass by Reece to
Nathan Carleton in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a field goal by
Ryan Fick in the first quarter, KHS was up 24-0 at the half.
The Buccaneers grew their lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. Kingston scored two times in the third, including once on a field goal by Fick.
With the win KHS extended its winning streak to six games. Kingston defeated Sequim 52-7 last week.
Bremerton's only touchdown came on a 7-yard run by Darren Circulado in the fourth quarter.
The Buccaneers went into the matchup giving up only 15.5 points per game.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Knights took, 37-0.
The loss was the fourth in a row for Bremerton.
Bremerton (2-5) will play a 2A Olympic game against Olympic next week, while Kingston (6-1) will take on North Kitsap also in a 2A Olympic game.
