The Butler Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Warsaw Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Butler blew Cole Camp out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cole Camp got their revenge. The Bears fell just short of the Blue Birds by a score of 38-36. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bryson Kash, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jake Chandler also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Warsaw strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past El Dorado Springs 48-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 226th).
Butler better keep an eye on Josh Harvath. He was instrumental in Warsaw's win, rushing for 144 yards and three scores on only 14 carries.
Warsaw was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 201 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Warsaw, their record is now 6-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Butler has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 230.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Warsaw struggles in that department as they've been averaging 281.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Butler came up short against Warsaw in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 13-6. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Harvath, who rushed for 133 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Now that the Bears know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
