With a playoff game on the line, the Buford Wolves rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by Wheeler at home to the tune of 50-0. Buford might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.
Buford had a senior duo take command as Dylan Raiola threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes and Kj Bolden picked up 138 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Raiola is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.
The win was the fourth in a row for Buford, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Wheeler, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Buford will square off against Norcross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norcross knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Buford likes a good challenge. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
