Labette County extended their road winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Landry Obrien. The Labette County Grizzlies took down the Pittsburg Dragons 58-41 on Friday thanks in part to Obrien, who almost dropped a double-double on 34 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 17.2 points per game.
The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Davis, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Labette County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Pittsburg, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Labette County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Field Kindley at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
