After a string of ten wins dating back to last season, The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars''s good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Upland by a score of 17-14. Rancho Cucamonga was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Upland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Despite the loss, Rancho Cucamonga still got an impressive performance from Trey Wilson, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Wilson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Rancho Cucamonga's loss dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Upland, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
Rancho Cucamonga will take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Upland, they will head out on the road to face off against Los Alamitos at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Los Alamitos is ranked 20th, while Upland is ranked 31st).
