After flying high against Rio Grande  last Saturday, Valley came back down to earth. The Valley Vikings fell  3-1 to the Highland Hornets on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2023.

As for Highland, they will head out on the road to  take on  West Mesa  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Highland is facing West Mesa at the right time seeing as West Mesa is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
