Basketball Recap: Reagan Gets the Win

On Monday, the Reagan Bison didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the North Broward Prep Eagles, but they still walked away with a 50-45 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

Sebastian Gonzalez was his usual excellent self, putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Chris Bravo, who posted 11 points.

Reagan was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Broward Prep only racked up eight assists.

When it comes to explaining why North Broward Prep lost, don't look at Jayden Smith. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Cano, who put up nine points and five rebounds.

Reagan's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for North Broward Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reagan and JC Bermudez Doral will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for North Broward Prep, they will welcome Sagemont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Broward Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
