It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the St. Bernard's Crusaders had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over Analy. Considering St. Bernard's has won six games by more than 22 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Wyatt Simoni was his usual excellent self, rushing for 307 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Simoni's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
The win (which was St. Bernard's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.33 points. As for Analy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
St. Bernard's will face off against Miramonte at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Analy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
