Oxon Hill came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Potomac, but Damarion Baxter wouldn't allow it. It took a bit of extra time, but the Wolverines secured a 32-26 victory against the Clippers in overtime on Saturday thanks in part to Baxter: he rushed for 245 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 138 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Thanks to that big game, Baxter is now up to 9 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Despite the loss, Oxon Hill still got an impressive performance from Kyre Grays, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, and also picked up 87 receiving yards. Grays got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards. D'Eor Ray also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

The win keeps Potomac at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average this season. As for Oxon Hill, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potomac will venture away from home to square off against Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oxon Hill, they are taking a road trip to take on Bowie at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Clippers will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
