The Bladensburg Mustangs's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They snuck past High Point with a 50-45 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bladensburg also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why High Point lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kadan Solomonraj. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Eze, who scored nine points.
Bladensburg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for High Point, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bladensburg will face off against Flowers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowers is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for High Point, they will head out on the road to face off against Wise at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wise will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
