The Shenandoah Raiders lost against the Frankton Eagles back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Shenandoah took a serious blow against Frankton, falling 54-23. Shenandoah has struggled against Frankton recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Emma Sperry continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Frankton, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sperry has scored at least 25% of Frankton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Collins, who scored 10 points along with 8 steals.
Shenandoah now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Frankton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will face off against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Frankton, they will head out on the road to face off against Alexandria-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alexandria-Monroe is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
