Prince RVT is 9-1 against Goodwin Tech since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Prince RVT Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Goodwin Tech Gladiators at 5:30 p.m. Prince RVT is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Prince RVT beat Achievement First 57-52. The victory was just what Prince RVT needed coming off of a 65-42 loss in their prior match.
Prince RVT got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Hernandez out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Williams, who scored 22 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Goodwin Tech pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 94-56 loss at the hands of Cheney RVT. Goodwin Tech has not had much luck with Cheney RVT recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Prince RVT's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Goodwin Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Prince RVT came up short against Goodwin Tech in their previous meeting on January 5th, falling 55-50. Can Prince RVT avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
