Creekside lost to Chapel Hill on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin. Creekside has struggled against Chapel Hill recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Creekside's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Daylen Jones, who scored 15 points, and Ahmare Mckenzie who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Tim Gaulden, who scored seven points.
Creekside dropped their record down to 2-22 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
Creekside will head out on the road to square off against Villa Rica at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Creekside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
