Mexia is 6-0 against the Bison since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mexia Black Cats will head out on the road to square off against the Buffalo Bison at 5:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Mexia can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They put the hurt on Teague with a sharp 48-27 victory. The win was just what Mexia needed coming off of a 59-31 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Buffalo had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Groesbeck 43-29 on Tuesday.
Mexia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record this season. As for Buffalo, their victory bumped their record up to 8-21.
Mexia beat the Bison 38-28 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mexia since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
