The Homer Trojans will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Norwich Purple Tornado at 6:45 p.m.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Homer, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-38 loss to Chittenango. Homer has not had much luck with Chittenango recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Norwich waltzed into their game on January 5th with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Windsor Central 62-41. Given Norwich's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while Windsor Central is ranked 677th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Homer's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Norwich, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
