When it comes to explaining why Langston Hughes lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jabari Jones. Despite the final result, he picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Langston Hughes' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Rome, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Langston Hughes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rome will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomas County Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
