This season hasn't been kind to the KIPP Collegiate phoenix, who are still winless after their tenth match. They were the victim of a tough 95-75 loss at the hands of Bolton on Thursday. While losing is never fun, KIPP Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Bolton is ranked 149th).
It was another big night for E'derian Washington, who scored 33 points for Bolton. That makes it two consecutive games in which Washington has scored at least 25% of Bolton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tadarian Allmond, who scored 18 points.
KIPP Collegiate has fallen quite a ways from their 22-6 record last season and are now at 0-10. As for Bolton, the last time they lost on the road was back two weeks ago. Having now won three straight away matches, they've pushed their record up to 3-4.
KIPP Collegiate will be playing at home against Power Center Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Power Center Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. Bolton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Milan at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th.
