Mack Moore and Cameron Fray provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Sanderson. The connection went for 65 yards, the longest such play in 4A Cap Eight this season.
Leesville Road extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Millbrook, 54-17. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Pride.
Wake Forest-Rolesville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fray has thrown for 533 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Taylor Bagley has 12 catches for 212 yards. Bryce Love leads the league in rushing with 668 yards.
A big matchup in 4A Cap Eight this week will be when Heritage takes on Leesville Road. Heritage is in fourth place, while Jeremy Fullbright 's team is in first place.
Enloe moved up to 281 from 312 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Wakefield 42-6.
