The Holgate Tigers will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Edon Bombers at 5:30  p.m.
 Last Tuesday, Holgate didn't have quite enough to beat Hilltop and fell  3-2. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cadets: they've now lost four in a row.

 She wasn't the only good server: Holgate  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in five consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Edon came into Tuesday's   game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Gorham Fayette on Tuesday as Edon made off with  a  3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Bombers have posted  since September 5th.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17,  25-20.
 Holgate's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Edon, their win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-14.
