The Radford Bobcats lost against the Floyd County Buffaloes back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Radford had to suffer through a rough 76-23 loss at the hands of Floyd County. Radford has not had much luck with Floyd County recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Radford got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
A Hayes and
Melody Burks, who each put up six points.
Radford has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Floyd County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
Radford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-23 defeat vs. Carroll County on the 8th. Floyd County has also already played their next game, a 53-46 victory against Alleghany on the 8th.
