Last Monday, BASIS - Chandler suffered a tough 73-50 defeat at the hands of Heritage Academy. BASIS - Chandler has struggled against Heritage Academy recently, as their match on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
BASIS - Scottsdale can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against ASU Prep by a score of 61-49.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead BASIS - Scottsdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaryan Dwvedi, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Blake Tropper, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals.
BASIS - Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for BASIS - Scottsdale, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.
BASIS - Chandler was able to grind out a solid win over BASIS - Scottsdale in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 55-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for BASIS - Chandler since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
