After three games on the road, St. Francis is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Cloquet Lumberjacks at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, St. Francis suffered a tough 72-51 defeat at the hands of Becker. While losing is never fun, St. Francis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Becker is ranked 93rd).
Meanwhile, Cloquet's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 82-65 bruising from Denfeld. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (61), Cloquet still had to take the loss.
St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cloquet, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
