Raton extended their winning streak  to four  on Friday, bumping their season record up to 10-9 in the process. Everything went their way against the Santa Rosa Lions as they made off with  a  21-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by 15  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jaylynn Quintana was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  two  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Brooklyn Marquez, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with five  runs, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI. Those  five  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Jauzlyn Bone also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hits of the season.
 Raton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .733. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Rosa only posted  an  OBP of  .364.
As for Santa Rosa, they now  have a losing record of 7-8. They have struggled against Raton recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
 On Santa Rosa's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Angelina Silva, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double. Another  was  Kaidyn Chavez, who  got on base  in two of her three plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
