Brock put the finishing touches on their 14th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Dublin, posting a 85-17 win at home. Given Brock's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while Dublin is ranked 1006th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Breckenridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Millsap by a score of 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Breckenridge has suffered yet this season.
Brock is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Breckenridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-20.
Everything came up roses for Brock against Breckenridge when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-28 win. With Brock ahead 41-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
