The More Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 29 points or more this season. They breezed by DCP Alum Rock at home to the tune of 55-26. The victory was just what More needed coming off of a 92-59 defeat in their prior match.
It was another big night for Tim Selway, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of More's points. Another player making a difference was Ben Selway, who scored two points along with six rebounds and three steals.
DCP Alum Rock's loss on Wednesday came despite strong showings from Tony Clarida and Emilio Espinoza. Clarida scored eight points along with five rebounds, while Espinoza scored six points.
More pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.7 points. As for DCP Alum Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. More will face off against Menlo School at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for DCP Alum Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Pinewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
