Baseball Recap: Sutherland Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

While Sutherland's victory against East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 23rd.

Sutherland's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for East, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutherland will challenge Canandaigua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for East, they will square off against Livonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
