Drew Brown had an outrageously good game for The Classical Academy as he threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jackson Schipfer helped Brown out on the ground, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Florence's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for The Classical Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Florence will venture away from home to face off against Salida at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Classical Academy, they will take on Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
